Gallop Into Good Fortune This Lunar New Year. 2026 is the Year of the Horse – a time for energy, prosperity, and bold moves. The Charles partners with Hennessy to celebrate with three exclusive cocktails: High Horse, Golden Gallop, and Red Fortune plus a non-alc option Prosperity Sunrise.
Order one of the Hennessy cocktails and receive a red envelope. Two golden tickets are hidden within – each giving the winner a bottle of Hennessy X.O ($299). One winner per week.
Available from Monday 16 February to Tuesday 3 March, the menu will be served in both The Charles Bar and Brasserie.
Bookings are welcome at The Charles Brasserie & Bar, with walk-ins always encouraged.

- Each Hennessy VSOP Lunar New Year cocktail purchased between Monday 16 Feb – Tuesday March 3
- (inclusive) during standard operating hours will receive a red envelope containing a chocolate gold coin. One random red envelope will contain the winning prize. The non-alcoholic mocktail (Prosperity Sunrise) is excluded from this promotion.
- Only one prize will be awarded throughout the entire promotion period.
- Prize: 700ml bottle of Hennessy X.O (RRP $299), to be claimed immediately upon winning at The Charles Brasserie and Bar.

- One entry per cocktail purchased. Maximum of 5 entries per person per day.
- Prize must be claimed by presenting the winning ticket to staff at The Charles Brasserie and Bar at time of winning.
- Winner must be over legal drinking age (18+) and present valid identification to claim prize.
- Prize not redeemable for cash or any other alternative.
- Staff, management, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
